• Excellent place to stay while in Paris. Quiet, clean, comfortable, and very convenient to public transportation. I have stayed here numerous times since 1990.

• June 1995 (during fete de music). Found the hotel to be very clean and comfortable, especially good firm beds. Stayed there on two occasions and both rooms very comfortable. Enjoyed the US-type pillow. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The TV was good (what little we watched) but the radios were difficult to tune (inexpensive). There was easy access to Metro, lots of nice restruants (tried out quite a few) as well as the Place des Vosges where the fete de music was surpurb. I would recommend anyone to this hotel. The rate was slightly higher than I planned, but we moved there from a two star that should have been a half-star. The desk kept a few small things for us when we took a long week-end out of the city--a very fine help. merci

• I have stayed at the Bastille Sperria several times and every time the service has been great. The rooms are always clean and in good repair. The access to the metro makes all of Paris a few steps away and there are a quite a few late night spots around the Opera. Very close .I would recommend this hotel to any one.

• I've stayed here twice, and really recommend it. Location is great,staff is helpful and pleasant. Everything was painted and freshened up between my two visits (2000, Oct. 2002).
