• It was wonderful. The concierge was great. We felt like we were staying in a friend's home. We will go back again.

• This hotel has been re-designed in very good taste, and the rooms are very nicely appointed. the staff was friendly and attentive. Downsides include the lack of a breakfast room, so breakfast is brought to your room. the soundproofing is excellent, but the location is a mixed blessing. It's very central, and looks over the Seine, but is unfortunately right on the extremely busy and noisy Quai St. Michel- this tended to make it less than restful for us.

• My husband and I spent two nights at Les Rives de Notre Dame in the fall of 1996. Our room had a wonderful view of the Seine, and the concierge (Grace) was gloriously helpful and completely charming. We'd go back any time!
