• Stayed here in May of 96, and liked it very much. Rooms not so big (hey, this is Paris), but bathrooms large and renovated. Great location between St. Germain des Pres and the Seine - galleries, Buci market, etc. Service was warm and charming. Beamed breakfast room.

• I have stayed at this hotel dozens of times, beginning when it was in Frommer's $5 a day. While the price has gone up its beautifully appointed and newly refurbished rooms are lovely and staff is very accomodating.

• July 2003, my daughters and I chose to stay at this well located hotel because my one daughter had read about it in her favourite author's diary (Sylvia Plath). It lived up to our expectations! Great parisian atmosphere with beamed ceilings and painted walls and a small courtyard. The room was small but well decorated and a very nice marble bathroom. The Louvre was close by and not far from Notre Dame. Staff was friendly and helpful. An all around good experience.
