• I stayed here in the spring of '97, and we'll probably go back this year. Friendly & helpful staff; very simple and efficient rooms. Very reasonable prices for Paris! Not fancy, but clean and safe. Light breakfast served each day, but we especially enjoyed the omlette at the cafe down the street, as well as the fresh bakery a few doors down! The fruit & vegetable farmer's market / street fair was fun. We enjoyed this area of the city, which was about a couple short blocks off the Metro. The Sunday outdoor book fair was close by, and great fun, but they laughed at my "American cowboy" accent when I tried to speak french! C'est la vie!
