• We were pleasently surprised. The hotel is conveniently located and the staff was wonderful. Pascal provided excellant service -- very personable. Very patient, and he along with other staff provided good recommendations for quality meals at value prices. The staff truly went out of their way to help us with every request. When we return to Paris, we will not look for another hotel. I will return to Abbatial Saint. Germain.

• My wife and I found this hotel via the internet and cross-checked it via www.paris.org! A wonderful hotel located in a great area of the Latin Quarter, very close to restaurants, shops and Paris landmarks, many within short walking distance! Vera, the Reception Manager, was a terrific help in helping us through our stay in Paris. She was friendly, very helpful, and always had great information about where to go and what to do in Paris. When we return to Paris we will stay at the Abbatial Saint Germain.

• We enjoyed our stay for our 25th anniversary so much we will go back for two weeks next year. The people were exceptional.

• Me and my wife went to Paris in our Honneymoon, in april/1998, and we stayed in the Abbatial Saint-Germain. This hotel is very well located (quartier latin). The Boulevard Saint-Germain is one of the most charming street in Paris. There are a large number of cafes and bistros near the hotel, and at night you can go walking to the Boulevard Saint-Michel, a street full of things to do. In the Abbatial Saint-Germain we spent the best days of our lifes.

• What a great find! It is a small hotel (with the smallest elevator in the world) but the staff is very helpful and cheerful and the rooms immaculate. We loved our 6th floor room with the small balcony overlooking Rue Saint Germain and the top of the Pantheon. A great value.

• We were very pleased with our one night stay at Abbatial Saint Germain, two weeks ago. Vera was very nice and the breakfast was good and affordable. I reccomended a fifth or sixth floor view. Speaking very little french was not a problem and the location was great! We will return.

• My daughter and I visited Paris in Jan.'03 and stayed at this lovely little hotel. I regret that I've forgotten the names of the staff, but all were friendly, kind, and helpful - and tolerated with amusement our attempts to speak the language as best we could.. our cozy little room (and yes, the elevator is amazingly 'compact'!) was always clean and welcoming (as was the well stocked fridge!)on our return from our long days exploring that exquisite city.. I would recommend the hotel to anyone and hope to return again and again -

• Excellent location, staff and service. Was book there from Dec 4th through Dec 10, 2003. Plan to use it again on our next visit to Paris.

• Abbatial Saint Germain is a lovely, quaint hotel. We had a view of the top of the Notre Dame from our fifth floor room balcony. The breakfasts were wonderful with fresh baguette, cheese, cafe, tea, and smiling faces to greet us each morning. It was convenient for sites, the metro, bistros, etc. A special thank you to the staff for making our first trip to Paris delightful. Be sure to have lunch at Laduree (75 Champs Elysees) and buy a supply of the manifique chocolates. Also, have lunch or dinner at Fountain de Mars!!! We love Paris and will be back and will stay at the Abbatial Saint Germain. Bonne Nannee!!!!!

• This hotel was outstanding! The neighborhood is wonderful, with the Metro stop only a block away. Definitely request an upper-floor room. My wife and I stayed on the 5th floor, and from our balcony we could see Notre Dame cathedral and the top of the Eiffel Tower. We will stay there again when we visit Paris.
