Tell Us about your experience at this hotel

What others have said about this hotel:

  • We have stayed in this hotel only a few times, and are confident that we shall return soon in spring '97. The hotel is situated right in the center of where we want to be and it stands out with the hospitality which is second to none. Susanne and Michael.

  • Enjoyed our stays there, but can be noisy right on St. Germain Blvd (ask to stay off the main street). Parking garage in very close; as is Metro (30 ft outside the hotel door). Well located.

  • We were in this Hotel in february 1999. We chose it because it is cheap and in the heart of Paris. The personal is friendly and speaks English. The old lady who serves the breakfast is very kind and warm to everybody. Our double-bed room was very small, nice dekorated, with a small balcony and an extra place with a sink. It is a clean Hotel, they keep it in a good shape but far away from luxurious. Ideal for people who want to live in the center of Paris without paying a lot and still having a nice place to stay. Pavlos, Chrissi

  • Have stayed at this spot since 1987 and ask that everyone keep the secret. Its a great location, Phillipe is a gem and his mother is the pleasant elderly lady that greats you with breakfast each morning. This is a diamond in the rough and a place we call home in Paris--now bringing along our 2 young children. S.B.J and D.N.J.

  • It's quite cheap but also clean and it's in the hearth of Paris. People are friendly and kindly too(they don't matter if you come home late at night ;-) ). I spent nice days here and I think I'll go there again next time I'll go to Paris.

  • We love this small, friendly hotel set in the heart of Paris. It is cheap, clean and a stones throw from Notre Dame. Surrounded by a variety of restaurants and close to the metro it is ideal. It is worth putting up with the noise. We always return. Steve and Patrick

  • We stayed there twice, in 2001 and 2002 and really enjoyed the hospitality, clean rooms and being in the "center" of it all. The location is very good, close to the Metro which we used to and from the airport and to visit every historic location Paris has to offer. The staff always had a smile, even though we don't speak the language the universal language of "kindness" was apparent in every face. The continental breakfast of coffee, tea or hot chocolate (I love the French Chocolate the best) and a roll was just the right start each morning. I'm going again, if I can get a room at Hotel Studia, which by the way I'm trying to call. We are traveling there November 4 through the 8th. Thank you!

  • We have stayed in Studia very often since 1988 and still love to come back about 2 times a year. Good price, clean rooms, friendly people and excellent situation in Paris. Unfortunately the lovely kind lady has deceded but Philippe and his friendly équipe are still there to make this hotel our favourite. The lobby and breakfastroom have been beautifully redecorated lately. We're leaving again on 5/3/04 and I can smell the croissants!NW&NC

  • Lovely to find this beautiful little well placed hotel on line. I stayed there in 1987, going back over so many years but its great to see that everyone has the same feelings I do about the place. The little old lady who would say 'bonjour madame mademoiselles, chocolat ou cafe?'. And obviously on the Blvd St Germain and right next to a metro station made it the perfect place to stay! C'est magnifique!

  • I was there in November 2002. Had a nice room with a balcony and private bath. It is well-located to the metro, attractions, etc., and the staff are very nice. Very simple furnishings, nothing fancy, but it is neat and clean. Nice continental breakfast in the morning. Plan to stay there again in March 2005.

  • I have enjoyed staying at the Hotel Studia since 1997 and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Paris! It's clean, affordable and right in the heart of the Latin Quarter. My husband and I stayed there for part of our honeymoon. They recently redid their lobby and breakfast room - the new design is elegant but I miss looking at all the posters at breakfast. This hotel is definitely one of Paris' best-kept secrets. Monique

  • We have stayed at Hotel Studia 5 times. The corner room with private bath is a great deal. The location is perfect for walking all the highlights of Paris. Simple, clean accommodations, no frills, none necessary in a place like Paris :-)

  • This hotel is my home when I go to Paris. In fact, when I tour Europe with my music (sometimes twice a year), because of the family I have developed around Hotel Studia, I always fly in and out of Paris, even though my tours will take me far afield of France. Phillipe and his mother took me in with open arms when I first was taken to them (by a famous French artist living close by) and I felt adopted. They were so helpful. When I returned the next tour, I found my promotion photo placed on the wall in the breakfast room. And then subsequent pictures as the years went by. Phillipe has become a good friend. I am always taken care of in any way the staff can possibly help. All the other testimonies give the logistical favors of this hotel and I agree. The street noise can be a bother...I suggest the top corner room for peace and quiet (unless I am in town)ha - and I also recommend ear plugs for travel in general. If you are so lucky as to get to stay, please tell Phillipe Rex sent you. He'll smile in a big way.

  • I stayed at the Hotel Studia this summer and enjoyed my stay. The room and facilities were just fine and the price was very good, including breakfast. I plan to stay again.

  • Remarks above received through April 2008.
