We stayed in this hotel when my
family and I visited Paris in May
of '96. We stayed 4 nights in
room 62. It was a neat room
because it was quaint. We stayed
on the top floor, which had a
balcony. It had a double bed, and
two chairs that folded out into
beds. It had a bathroom with a
tub, and a bidet. It was clean.
We enjoyed the breakfast of
croissants, and a baguette with
your choice of either hot chocolate, tea, or coffee. The desk
management was very pleasant and
helpful.
I stayed at the College de France a few years ago for
a week with my aunt and found the hotel staff very
pleasant. The hotel itself was clean, quiet, and
conveniently situated. I would recommend it to anyone.
I have stayed in this hotel for a week during the winter. The hotel is situated very close by the metro stations as well as near the "heart" of Paris (Notre-Dame is only 10 minute walk).
Everyone working in the hotel was extremely nice. The room where I stayed was very clean and nicely decorated. I would definetely suggest staying in this hotel in Paris!
We stayed (five of us) between Christmas and New Years 1998 in rooms 12 and 13, which made a nice little suite for a family. The place is clean and well run, and it's located on an amazingly quiet little side street, very well located. Petit dejeuner was really nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
We stayed at the College De France
in 1999. It's a nice hotel in an
interesting and active area with lots
of shops and places to eat, but on
a quiet side street off of Saint
Germain. The metro is just a few
blocks away but the river and Notre
Dame are within walking distance.
The hotel was comfortable and the
staff was helpful and friendly. It
has an elevator to help you to your
room after a long day of walking Paris
streets.
We stayed here for 5 days in April 1999 and are returning to Paris tomorrow December 2001 to stay there again. Very quaint and elegant. Friendly staff, great location. Highly recommend.
My husband and I stayed on the first floor of this charming, clean, and quiet hotel. It is so close to Notre Dame, the Sorbonne, the oldest church AND the oldest tree in Paris, the Luxembourg garden, and, of course, the Siene. Clean and comfortable--the room was small, but large enough for us as we spend most of our time touring Paris. The bed was wonderful--the firmest of any hotel we have stayed in for years. We slept peacefully away from street noise. It had a shower in the small bathroom, which was fine for us. And did I say--it is reasonably priced.
I've stayed here on 3 separate occasions in the past 22 months, and I enjoyed myself each time. It's very clean, the beds are quite comfortable, and the front desk could not be more helpful. The location is as convenient as one could imagine!!!
Stayed here April 2004 and thought it was very nice. Agree with other postings - the room was clean and the desk staff was very nice and spoke English. Reasonable rates as well.
I visited Paris for the first (but hopefully not last!) time in May of 2003. I found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful, and I loved my small room. I would definitely stay there again.
We stayed here in 2002 and 2004. The entire staff is extremely cordial and kind. The rooms are on the small side, but are kept spotless and are very welcoming after a day spent on one's feet. The hotel is situated on a quiet side street. It's an easy walk to the Marais, the Centre Pompidou, the Pantheon, the great market on the rue Monge, etc. We can afford a higher rate, but we believe M. marc and his wonderful staff deserve our loyalty as repayment for their exceptional hospitality.
