• a charming way to see paris..marie and madame are most delightful...great coffee and a short walk to an open-air market and dozens of great places to eat..also less than a block from the metro...my husband and i have stayed there 7 times and have brought our parents, kids and friends

• had wonderful time. clean, charming, bright, friendly. helpful staff and very reasonable rates. like the location near Place de la Contrescarpe.

• What makes this inn special is the lovely garden and lush greenery surrounding it--in the middle of Paris! My husband and I would sip wine in the garden on sunny afternoons after touring museums all morning.The rooms were comfortable and a great bargain by Paris standards--we plan to return!

• what a marvelous hotel!!! my father and stepmother and i were driving into Paris for one day, and we were referred to this hotel. Luckily, a generous young Frenchman gave us his room for the night, due to the fact the hotel was full and we needed a place to stay. The hotel room was beautifully decorated and had a window that overlooked the gorgeous courtyard with tables, chairs and flower garden. The service was excellent and made our visit a day to remember! Thanks !!!

• Absolutely charming! The staff is wonderful and full of information. This is my second stay and I intend to be back next year.

• A wonderful value in the Latin Quarter. Charming and extremely well trained and helpful staff--they even helped me get over my fear of speaking the language--so much so that other guests were stunned to find out I wasn't actually French myself. This little gem is well worth a visit and incredibly affordable. A home away from home!

• A wonderful hotel with very clean rooms. The staff are charming and helpful, and the courtyard location means that it is quieter than many Paris Hotels. I'll stay here again.

• We stayed here last Christmas and New Year's and had an incredibly magical stay, decorated for the holidays. Madame Marie and her staff are very french and very welcoming. The rooms are quite charming and comfortable and clean. We love it here and will definitely come back and stay again with no hesitation!!!

• We stayed here in Feb. 2002. The hotel and staff are very nice. We moved from a small main building room to a much larger ground floor of the opposite building. The change saved our stay. I would go back again, if I wanted to be in that area.

• I've stayed here twice and found it friendly, charming, clean, accomodating in every way. I've recommended it to friends who've been equally enthusiastic. It's very convenient. You can walk to the Pantheon, Jardin du Luxembourg, Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Marais. There are shops nearby where you can buy wine, cheese, bread, pastries, and have an impromptu picnic in the hotel's lovely courtyard. And because it's off the main streets, it's always quiet and peaceful.
