Harriet Welty Rochefort is the author of French Toast: An American in Paris Celebrates the Maddening Mysteries of the French and French Fried: The Culinary Capers of an American in Paris. French Toast was hailed by the Los Angeles Times as "wise and devastatingly funny". For world-famous chef Alain Ducasse, her second book French Fried "in a lively and hilarious style ... gives an inside look at the world of French cuisine and wine." Both books are published by St. Martin's Press. "French Toast" will be published in French by Editions Ramsay in April 2005.

Josef M. Schomburg came to Paris in 1989 for a holiday and never left. Artist turned photographer turned graphic artist and then art director, he recently realized that no particular description is apt. Doyeun Kim - Image of The Month
Doyeun Kim, is currently a high-school student at the American School of Paris. Born in South Korea, at age one she moved to France and lived in Paris as a toddler, but has few memories of those years. She left France as she was entering elementary school and moved around in Asia, but about three years ago returned to Paris, and is reliving and rediscovering the infinite charms of this amazing city.
