Reconstitution d'une demeure aristocratique du XVIIIe siècle. Ce musée présente un ensembleexceptionnel de meubles, tableaux, tapis, porcelaines et orfèvrerie disposés dans un hôtel particulieren bordure du parc Monceau. Cette demeure et ses collections furent léguées en 1935 à la Francepar le Comte Moïse de Camondo en mémoire de son fils Nissim mort au combat en 1917.
Reconstruction of an eighteenth century aristocratic home. This museum presents an exceptional range of furniture, paintings, rugs, porcelain and goldplate arranged in a mansion on the edge of the Parc Monceau. This home and its collections were bequeathed to France in 1935 by Comte Moïse de Camondo in memory of his son Nissim, who died in combat in 1917.
